1. Who is Sir Edmund Hillary?
Sir Edmund Hillary was a well known mountain climber, when he was in high school he set a big goal for himself, to climb Mount Everest. No one had ever climbed Mount Everest, lots of people have tried but no one had succeeded most people have turned around and sadly some people died.
2. What was Sir Edmund Hillary's first mountain he ever climbed up ?
The first mountain he climbed up was when he was In secondary school 1939 reaching the summit of mount olivier.
3. Who did he live with ? and about his family.
His father was called Percival Augusta Hillary, Mother gertrude clark and an older sister June and a younger brother Rex he also had three kids two girls one boy girls names Sarah and Belinda and the Boy Peter who has also climbed Mount Everest.
4. Why did he want to climb Mount Everest ?
He wanted to show nothing in the world is impossible if you set your mind to it! and if you really try hard you can accomplish anything you want.
After years of dreaming it and seven weeks of climbing it New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary and Nepalese Tenzing Norgay reached the top of Mount everest the highest mountain in the world, at 11:35 am on May the 29, 1953. They were the first ever people to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
Mount Everest has long been considered unclimbable by some and an ultimate climbing challenge for others soaring the height of 29,035 feet thats 8,850 metres. The famous mountain lays in the Himalayas along the border line nepal and Tibet China
The Dangers
Climbing mount Everest extremely dangerous ,Besides the cold weather [which puts climbers to a huge risk for extreme frost bites or hipotermia] and from long falls from cliffs. Climbers of mount Everest suffer from extreme altitude ,often called mountain sickness.Any climber who climbs above 8.000 feet could get mountain sickness and the higher they climb, the more severe the symptoms may become. Most climbers from Mount Everest at least suffer from headaches, cloudiness of thought , lack of sleep and loss of appetite.
Food Supplies
In addition to humans,not many creatures or plants can live in high altitudes either. So in preparation for the climb climbers must plan , purchase, then carry all their food and supplies up the mountain with them. Most teams hire sherpas to carry some stuff for them.
Going up the mountain
After months of planning and organising the group began to climb on there way they established nine camps,some are still getting used by now. Out of all the climbers at the expedition only four would get to make an attempt to reach the summit of mount everest. Hunt the team leader selected two teams of climbers. The first team was made up of Tom Bourdillon and Charles Evans and the second team was made up of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. The first team left on may the 26 1953 but were forced to turn back because bad weather had set in and they were having problems with their oxygen tanks
Reaching the top of the world
At four am may 29 Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay awoke in camp nine and readied themselves for the climb. The two men left camp at 6:30 am upon their climb they came across to some particularly hard rocks but Edmund Hillary found a way to get up it so those rocks now are called Hillarys step. At 11:30 they finally reached the summit of mount Everest When they got up their Hillary reached out for Tenzings hand to shake it but he gave a hug in return. The two men enjoyed only 15 minutes of being on top of the world because of low oxygen they spent most of that time taking pictures of themselves. When their 15 minutes where up they started making their way back down.News spreaded quickly across the world. The are both HEROES

Crazy Free Writing
Once upon a time I Was just sitting at school with Amy we had to do some Free writing I had no Idea what to write about. It was Just another boring day. BUT I THOUGHT WRONG!
Suddenly I glimpsed up and MR Billings he had turned into SPIDER MAN and all the other kids in our class had turned into Minnie Batman's and Minnie Wonder woman's. Amy and I just sat there with our mouths wide open wondering what was happening. Suddenly I heard him still talking to the class like nothing was wrong but To me and Amy we could not understand anything. We thought they might be speaking super man Language.
We just continued on writing until lunch time when we saw in our friends lunch they were eating Worms, Cockroaches, Spiders and all that yucky stuff. We sat By ourselves eating then after lunch eating We played on the playground but the playground wasn't there it had turned in to their training areas to practice flying and swinging.
In class we did some free writing
